The lucky students studying audio engineering at MacEwan University now have a very nice new console on which to learn their trade. The university has installed a 32 channel ‘Legacy Plus’ console at their studio in Edmonton, Alberta.
David Kotch, Principal Architect at MacEwan’s studio (and owner of Criterion Acoustics) explained the reason behind the choice:
“As an educational facility, MacEwan wanted to choose a brand that fits with their philosophy of how audio engineering should be taught. The school strongly believes in API’s brand, and in the analog console market, we fully believe API is the best out there.”
